Meet the Instructor...

Who I am:

My name is Julie Nichols.  I am a classically trained voice instructor located in Abingdon, Virginia.  I studied at the University of Texas at Arlington, where I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Music, Vocal Performance in 2014.  I have years of performance experience in various settings, such as solo recitals, musical theatre, and both large and small voice ensembles.  Additionally, I have taught students from every age group and ability meet their individual singing goals.

Teaching Style:

My teaching style places an emphasis on vocal health through  development of good breath support and teaching healthy singing habits, as well as helping my students cultivate and refine stylistic elements to each song we work on.

30-minute and 60 minute lesson packages to students 10 years and older to provide:

 

  • All-Level Vocal Training

  • Vocal Coaching and Consultation

  • Performance and Audition Prep
